Lip fillers (dermal fillers) are hyaluronic acid injected into your lip . They fill lines and wrinkles and add volume to your lips .
Fillers are not permanent. How long they last depends on things like the type of filler and where it's injected. They usually last between 6 and 18 months.
If you are thinking about having a treatment book a consultation before you have the procedure and ask about :
The practitioner's experience and qualifications
The name of the product and how and where it's made
Any risks or possible side effects
What insurance cover they have
Here at Alwoodley Aesthetics I can answer the questions upfront:
1. I am an experienced prescribing pharmacist with over 30 years experience
2. I use brand name products such as Teosyl RHA
3. You will be advised about what to do to help reduce the risk of side effects.
This includes not wearing make-up immediately after the procedure and avoiding alcohol, coffee and the sun.
4. All the treatments in our clinic are fully covered by insurance. I have a Medical Malpractice Cover for every treatment that I offer.
